A Practice Built on Relationships
Upper Cumberland Family Dentistry opened in Livingston in 1974 and has been part of this community ever since. Today we have two locations, in Cookeville and Livingston, with a team of six dentists alongside the hygienists, assistants, and front desk staff who make this place what it is. Many of them have been here for over 20 years. We see patients of all ages, we accept most major insurance plans, and we are always welcoming new families.

We see children starting at age 3. We take it at their pace and make first visits easy and fun.
We’re in-network with Delta Dental, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee, Aetna, Ameritas, GEHA, Guardian, Lincoln Financial, MetLife, and Sun Life. We can also file most other plans — just give us a call if you’re not sure.

Yes — we offer nitrous oxide (laughing gas) as a comfort option for patients who want a little extra help relaxing during their visit. It’s safe, mild, and wears off quickly. If you think it might help, just mention it when you request your appointment and we’ll plan for it.
Yes. We do our best to see emergency patients the same day they call. Contact your nearest location and we’ll get you in as soon as possible.
